Anchor End Pretzel Shoppe is serving up huge sandwiches on homemade soft pretzels out of a converted 1969 Shasta trailer.
They were opened in 2015 by twin sisters Amanda and Jessica, who hail from Ballard and are dedicated to making everything from scratch. They make every pretzel, roast all the meat, and craft their own veggie patties.
For just $10, these gals handed me a massive cinnamon sugar pretzel loaded with a mountain of tender pulled pork, fried pork belly, swiss cheese, stoneground mustard, pickled jalapenos, and dill pickles.
They also have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, and all of the sandwich descriptions sound mouthwatering.
